Quantifi Photonics, a leader in optical communications test and measurement solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Peter McDonald as Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. McDonald is a seasoned chartered accountant, and has extensive expertise in business consulting, financial analysis, and mergers and acquisitions.
He has held roles at KPMG and Ernst and Young and most recently served as Investment Director North America for New Zealand Trade and Enterprise. While based in San Francisco, he played a pivotal role securing growth capital for innovative New Zealand companies looking to expand their businesses in North America.
CEO of Quantifi Photonics, Dr. Andy Stevens says Mr. McDonald’s extensive international financial and investment experience will help the company find and execute on expansion opportunities and contribute to the company’s strategic direction in the global test and measurement industry.

His experience working in Hong Kong and San Francisco will provide a welcome perspective as we extend our international presence and launch new test solutions for the rapidly growing optical communications market.
